PLEASE NOTE – we cannot accept asbestos, worn or damaged tyres, old metal poultry cages/equipment, any form of gas cylinder, glazed items or used bathroom/kitchen fittings. Scrap cars/commercials will not be accepted. Sharp or dangerous edges must be protected and if appropriate lots securely propped and wheels chocked in position. Where there is no fitted support to the drawbar, this should be lowered to the ground. All electrical items are sold for scrap/spares unless stated otherwise. By signing the declaration the seller undertakes to indemnify bidders, purchasers and auctioneers against any liability arising out of inaccuracies in the information supplied as well as provide details of defects which could affect the health and safety of subsequent users.
DELIVERY TO SALEGROUND – deliveries to the saleground can be made on Thursday and Friday before the Sale, prior to 2pm, and unless otherwise agreed no entries will be accepted on the day of the sale. The closing date for catalogued entries will be 10 working days before the Sale day.
SECURITY – although there will be security arrangements on site on Thursday and Friday nights and all vehicles will be checked on sale day. The Auctioneers regret they cannot accept responsibility for any losses. (Please see Responsibility for Lots in “Contract with the Seller” on our website under ‘selling’) There will be no security on Saturday, the night of the Sale day and any lots which are not sold remain on site entirely at the Vendor’s risk.

TELESCOPIC LIFT – a telescopic lift will only be available for use free of charge by Vendors (and Purchasers) from 9.00am on the Friday before the Sale and 9.00am to 6.00pm on Saturday, the Sale day only. This will be at times, particularly to include roping off and isolating loading areas together with wearing of hard hats, if appropriate.
CONTRACT WITH THE SELLER & CONDITIONS OF SALE – Prospective Vendors are deemed to have read and understood the ‘Contract with the Seller’ and the ‘Conditions of Sale’ which can be viewed on our website and are also readily available on request from our Guildford office (this can also be emailed to you on request to firstname.lastname@example.org).
